Poster contest

The Poster Contest on the theme of “Human Trafficking in the 21st Century”.
 
October, 1st was the last day of the social poster competition nominated “Human Trafficking. XXI Century”.  The competition started on the 15th of April and by requests of the participants was prolonged till the end of September. We received the works from all over Russia and from abroad.

 

IOM accepted posters in jpg. format, sent by e-mail, 200-250kb, 1000pix by the larger side (reduced format A3).

 

The works will be selected in two phases: 3 best works selected in each of the project regions: Astrakhan, Karelia, Moscow region.

Nine best posters (along with the works sent from non-pilot regions) will take part in the final all-Russia selection.

 

The works of the winners of the competition and all best posters, nominated by the jury, will be placed on our web site.

The best works will be presented at the specialized exhibition.

The winners will be declared at the opening ceremony of the exhibition, the time and place of which will be announced shortly.

 

The best works of the participants will be demonstrated during various social actions and public events with obligatory indication of copyright.

Information about the competition.
What hides behind the term “human trafficking”? Lies, humiliation, captivity, exploitation? Large sums of money, selling-buying, criminal networks... We all have a different definition of what human trafficking means but sadly, we often remain indifferent towards the misery of others. Stop and think about the fact that slavery did not disappear 200 years ago! Find out more and tell everyone you know!

The purpose of the contest is

To heighten public awareness of existing forms of human trafficking in the Russian Federation especially in order to inform the youth of its dangers.

To develop awareness about the risks of illegal migration and illegal employment in a foreign country, and especially about the dangers facing those who become victims of human trafficking.

The first round of selection will be carried out in each of the pilot regions: Moscow region, the Republic of Karelia and in the region of Astrakhan. In each region, an official jury will select three of the most creative entrees, and the winners will be awarded prizes in the form of monetary compensation.

1st Place – 13000 rubles

2nd Place- 8000 rubles

3rd place- 2500 rubles

The winner of first place will be awarded an additional prize of 50000 rubles.

The winner of second place will receive 26000 rubles.

The winner of third place will be awarded 13000 rubles.

will also be organized in the city of Petrozavodsk, in Astrakhan and in Moscow with an award ceremony for the winners.

Contest Rules/Technical requirements:

Entrees into the contest (drawings, and graphic art) in the format jpeg, no more than 200-250 Kbytes, 1000 pixels on it’s longest side (the final product of the poster is going to be in format A3, proportionally shrunk for email transfer.
